How can I pay for my paragliding flight?

Accepted Answer

Payment is made after the flight, once you’re safely back on the ground.

You can pay using the common payment methods accepted in Interlaken, including card and cash options. If you choose the photo/video package, it can be added to your payment at the same time.

We accept:
Cash – Swiss Francs (CHF), Euros (€) or US Dollars ($).
Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Free Pick-Up Service – Available from your hotel, hostel, or B&B in Interlaken, or from Interlaken Ost train station.
Direct Meeting Point – If you prefer, meet us at:
Mattenhof Resort Reception (Hauptstrasse 36, 3800 Matten bei Interlaken) – Free parking available.
Höhematte Landing Site (Höheweg 115a, behind Heimatwerk souvenir shop, near Hapimag Belvedere Hotel).

If you are arriving by car, here are your parking options:
Mattenhof Resort / Funny Farm (Hauptstrasse 36, 3800 Matten bei Interlaken) – Free parking available.
Public parking near Höhematte landing site (paid parking).
If you park at Mattenhof Resort, it's about a 12-minute walk back to your car after the flight.
Tip: Let us know if you’re driving so we can coordinate your pick-up location!

Wear comfortable, weather‑appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes you can run a few steps in.

A light jacket is recommended even on warm days, as it can be cooler in the air. In winter or colder seasons, gloves and warm layers make the experience more enjoyable.

Your pilot provides all necessary flying equipment.

Your pilot offers a professional photo and video service with high‑quality equipment designed for use in the air. This ensures great footage without risking your device.

How long does a paragliding flight last?

A paragliding flight usually lasts between 10 to 20 minutes. Flight duration depends on the wind and thermal conditions of the day.

You will always enjoy at least the minimum flight time advertised for your chosen package. When conditions are good, your pilot can extend the flight and make use of the thermals for a longer, more playful experience in the air.

Tandem paragliding in Interlaken is considered very safe, and your flight is carried out only by fully licensed SHV (Swiss Hang Gliding Association) pilots.

These pilots follow strict Swiss safety standards and fly only in suitable wind and weather conditions. If conditions change or become unstable, your pilot may delay or reschedule the flight to ensure your safety. All equipment is checked before every takeoff, and your pilot remains in full control of the paraglider from start to landing.

Weather‑related cancellations by Twin Paragliding are never charged. If you need to adjust your plans, simply contact the team as early as possible so they can assist you.

Tandem paragliding is suitable for most people, but there are a few important requirements to ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

Passengers should be able to run during takeoff and landing. Weight limits may apply depending on wind and weather conditions, and your pilot will confirm this before the flight. Children can fly as long as they meet the minimum weight/age and can follow the pilot’s instructions. If you have any medical concerns, it’s best to check with your doctor beforehand.
